We busted Webster out of county on 12/23. Webster is the sweetest most affectionate boy. His whole body bends when you come home because he cannot control his happiness. He is a lover and gets along great with other dogs and kids. He is a chihuahua mix and approximately 10 months old

Rescue Me ID: 18-01-29-00297Lewis (male)

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Lewis is approx 1-2 years old, a mix between coonhound and lab But we do know is that he is patient with kiddos and other dogs. We busted him out from the Maricopa West Shelter. Lewis is a big ham! He relies on other dogs to tell him that people are okay, but his confidence is building every day! Lewis tends to try and lead people with his mouth so it is recommended that he live with older children. He absolutely loves going on walks and will let you know that the sun is down and it is time to go for that walk. Even though he loves walks, it still takes some convincing to get him in his harness. Lewis has the worlds biggest personality. He ... (Read More)likes to lean on you to direct you to scratching his belly and he will race you to bed. Lewis does have a kennel, but due to what we can only assume were long periods of kenneling, we never close the door. He is house broken and does use the doggy door. He is very good about not getting into trouble for stealing or chewing on anything in the house. When Lewis came to us, his hips were showing signs of muscle wasting, but after a vet visit and a few weeks of massage, therapy and walks, it has been determined that this was most likely due to over kenneling as well. Now he is healthy, happy and would love a forever home! Lewis would prefer a home with another dog who is active, but not a puppy. He likes to play but really doesn't like to be bothered when he is resting by other dogs ( mom can move him without a problem when he's sleeping, but only mom). Lewis is still learning that car rides are not scary so he requires a person or another dog his size to be with him on car rides. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-01-15-00443Little Anne (female)

Pointer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

HI, my name is 'Little Anne' because I remind my foster Mom and sister of the hunting dogs they read about in the book Where the Red Fern Grows. I am about 1 %BD years young. One day I was left on the street and a nice lady brought me in to her apartment. She wanted to keep me but I don't always know how to play nice with little dogs yet, and she had 2. She gave me a really nice fluffy blanket to sleep on and a matching harness, leash and collar so I gave her lots of hugs and kisses. She called the people listed on my 'chip' and they said they didn't want me L so I got sad. I think that is why I bark at some people and dogs or maybe ... (Read More)my first owners forgot to take me to school with the other dogs and people so that I could get used to being around them. I am getting lots of practice meeting new people and dogs at my foster home and I am getting much better. I am really smart and make my whole family laugh when I give high fives and roll around asking for belly rubs. I have a REALLY good nose and I smell everything. I heard my foster mom say that I would be really happy if I could live in a house with a big backyard or maybe even a farm where I can run and hunt. I might be ok with living in a smaller house but I definitely would need to get out and run each day or I might complain or forget my manners. I am really good at going to the bathroom outside and go in my kennel when they ask me to. I might need a family that has owned dogs before or has experience with dogs like me since I like to hunt and catch small animals (including cats). I get so excited to meet new people that sometimes I bark and sound angry but really I just want to make sure you won't hurt me or my family! My dream job would be 'hunting companion' or 'search and rescue'. I am really smart and willing to learn so I am open to other jobs as well. If you think we would be a good match, please call One by One Animal Rescue to set up a time to meet. I can't wait to meet you! (Less)
